Peel it, press it, done. Solar Patch is a fiberglass-reinforced repair patch that stays soft in the pouch and cures rock-hard in 5–10 minutes of sunlight or UV light. No mixing. No measuring. No mess.

Costs less than a service call — and fixes what most shops tell you to replace.

Works on virtually any hard surface. Bonds to steel, aluminum, plastic, fiberglass, PVC, ABS, wood, polyethylene and more. Seals holes, cracks, and punctures on hulls, roofs, gutters, tanks, pipe, and panels — on the water, in the yard, or on the side of the road. Once cured, it’s hammer-tested to hold under direct impact.

  • Bonds where tape and epoxy fail — including polyethylene kayak and boat hulls
  • Cures in 5–10 minutes of direct sun. No sun? A UV light does it on the same timeline
  • Permanent, not a patch job — rigid and waterproof, rated for below the waterline
  • Class 1 fire rated (ASTM E84-18, BS 476 Part 7) · 200°C dry / 90°C wet
  • Cut to any shape with scissors. No sanding, no primer, no tools
  • Made in Pahrump, Nevada. Family owned and operated

What surfaces does it work on?

Steel, aluminum, PVC, ABS, wood, fiberglass, and polyethylene — including kayak and boat hulls that most tapes and epoxies won't bond to.

What if it's cloudy, indoors, or at night?

Direct sunlight cures Solar Patch in 5–10 minutes at no cost. Working under cover or after dark? Any UV light cures it on the same timeline.

How long does the repair last?

It's a permanent repair, not a temporary patch. Once cured, Solar Patch is rigid, waterproof, and rated for continuous use below the waterline.

Do I need to prep the surface?

Clean and dry is enough. No sanding, no primer, no mixing.

How long does an unopened pouch last?

12 to 18 months in the sealed pouch, stored out of direct sunlight.

Can I paint or drill it once cured?

Yes to both.
